Circular paver patio and planting

This one started on screen. The circular patio was modelled as a 3D design so the homeowners could see the paver pattern, the fire feature and the surrounding planting to scale before anything was ordered.

Built, it reads as a stone medallion: banded rings of cut pavers radiating out from a fire bowl at the centre, set into a field of tumbled paver in a lighter tone.

Planting beds curve around the outside edge to soften the circle and tie it back into the rest of the garden. It is the clearest example we have of why we design in 3D first, because a circle is unforgiving once it is laid.
